MY STORY
My name’s Jack. I was the curious, hyperactive and disruptive kid who always wanted to know the answers and why things were the way they were. I’ve spent my lifetime pushing against the boundaries to see what’s possible when we think bigger and let go of limiting beliefs.
I’ve spent a lot of my life wondering what I’m here for. From a young age, I was always a natural leader, although I’ve learnt a lot of hard lessons using that gift in the wrong places. The more of life I’ve experienced, and the more challenges I’ve overcome, I’ve realised that my gift is connecting with people. I have the ability to truly see and understand people at a deep level. Using that ability, I’m able to coach and guide people through a process of transforming their life to one they’ve dreamed of.
You’re guaranteed to experience turbulence on your journey. When you lead from the heart and cultivate the self-awareness, emotional capacity and tools to go through these experiences with presence and courage, you can emerge on the other side with a truly fulfilled life.
If you’re reading this, it’s not a coincidence. You’re meeting the obstacles in your life and want to see what’s possible if you move through them. I’m here to enable you to do that.
MY CHILDHOOD
I grew up in London with my mum and brother. My dad wasn’t around, which always left me curious about what it meant to be a man. I spent most of my childhood exploring, setting myself random challenges like jumping over a neighbour’s fence without being seen and making new friends whenever the opportunity presented itself.
I have many happy memories of my childhood. But I also learnt some very hard lessons in my teens when I ended up on the wrong side of the tracks. Things weren’t always easy and at the same time I know my childhood prepared me for what I’m doing today. I learnt a lot about compassion, collaboration and resilience growing up, which now centres itself in the work I do. For that, I’m grateful.
HOW I BECAME A COACH, BUSINESS MENTOR, CEREMONIALIST, SPEAKER AND THE FOUNDER OF HUMAN WORK
I’ve always gravitated towards being a leader. Whether it was sports, friendship groups or projects, I always found myself facilitating and connecting the group. Although it wasn’t clear to me then, I now know that I was being initiated for what I’m doing today.
I experienced great success once I found my career working in technology companies such as Monzo, Just Eat, MoonPay, incident.io and more. Every company I joined asked me to step deeper into leadership, responsibility and driving collective impact. Through this journey I discovered that coaching is one of the most effective ways to unlock people’s potential. I trained with the British School of Coaching and never looked back.
During my mid-twenties, I started to realise that regardless of how successful my business became, how nice my house was and what car I had on the driveway, it didn’t mean I would feel fulfilled. I realised that I’d been ignoring a key part of myself that needed attention: my relationship with my trauma and masculinity. I dived deep into exploring my inner world and came across Sacred Sons, a global organisation supporting men to embody healthy masculinity.
Sacred Sons invited me to be part of leading their movement in Europe, and since then I’ve led retreats all over the world that enable men to show up better for their mission and the ones they love. After some time I realised that it was important to bring this work to men and women. This led me to found Human Work in 2023. Today I run Human Work trainings across Europe and am in service to the remembrance of real human connection.
